It has been 10 weeks since my operation. I have had a PSA test and a consultation with a member of the team. I am told that with regard to my prostate cancer things look very good, margins are clear and the PSA is unrecordable. This means they got all the cancer out. I will need to be tested again periodically and I still have some rehabilitation work to complete but I am, to all intents and purposes, cured.
This is a very pleasant way to start a new year. Despite everything that is going on I am very pleased that I will be spending more time on this wonderful planet. This is going to be a big year on many fronts so do please pop back from time to time to see what is going with me.
Thanks to everyone who has followed my ‘cancer journey’ and have said such lovely things about my writing. It has been such a pleasure sharing it with you all but I need to start writing about something else.
